Is Luciai Studio really free?
Yes — the whole IDE and the whole Lucicoder agent, with no time limit and nothing to pay. Download it and start: the first month on your computer needs no account. Then create a free account — your key with no time limit arrives as soon as you confirm your email, and Luciai Studio picks it up by itself.
Do I need an account to download it?
No. Download Luciai Studio, install it and start: the first month on that computer begins by itself — it needs to be online once, on its first start. Before it ends, Luciai Studio asks you to create a free account (two minutes, no card); confirm your email, and it keeps working with no time limit.
Where does my coffee go?
Every child deserves an education. I will use this money to help poor and needy children in Pakistan get an education. A coffee goes through Buy Me a Coffee to me, the maker of Luciai Studio — it is not a donation to a registered charity. Entirely up to you — Luciai Studio stays free either way.
On how many devices can I use my key?
Free: 3 devices at once. Your account lists the devices your key is active on, and you can free one to make room for another.
Do I need to be online for the license?
Not to use it. Keys are signed and verified offline, so no license server is needed to start the IDE. You need a connection to download Luciai Studio and to receive your key.
Do I pay you for the AI models?
No. Lucicoder runs on local models through Ollama, on the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already have through the official Claude Code or Codex CLI, or on a cloud provider with your own API key. Cloud usage is billed by that provider, directly to you.
Can I get an invoice?
Nothing is charged — Luciai Studio is free — so there are no invoices. For a coffee, Buy Me a Coffee sends you its own receipt.
